Stardate: 110702.7

I've been reviewing Doctor Who series 1-6 (new ones Doctors 9 through 11), and I've come to a few conclusions.

Something (or someone) out there is capable of remote piloting a TARDIS to where and when they want it. Examples: The Lodger (Series 5, Episode 11), the TARDIS (though the hologram says 'ship' what is a TARDIS, but a time-traveling space-ship?) The Pandorica Opens (Series 5 Episode 12) the Doctor's TARDIS takes River to Amy's house on 26 June, 2010 (the date we found out previously to be the exact date that the cracks in time and space began)

So again, something or someone is trying to shape events to cause the destruction of all reality. That's nothing new, the Daleks have tried that before. The bigger question is, who or what?

The Silence could be the culprit, but its doubtful.
The Daleks were in on the Pandorica, so most likely not them.
If you follow that logic, the Sontarans, Cybermen, Slitheen, Silurians, Judoon, Draconians, Zygons, Sycorax, Autons, Chelonians, Hoix, Atraxi, Blowfish, Weevils, Uvodni, Drahvins, Terileptils, Haemo-goths, and Roboforms. That's total conjecture since many of those are known to be enemies of the Doctor, and would surely turn on the other Alliance members in a heartbeat.

Now for The Silence.
We were warned from the beginning of Series 5 about The Silence. Is the silence in the warning the same Silence in the Series 6 two part opening, The Impossible Astronaut and Day of the Moon? Possibly, but I would consider it doubtful. Note what The Silence that had captured Amy told her, "You are Amelia Pond. We give you honor, you will bring the silence." It is likely that the Silence Amy is bringing about is the silence of the warnings, and not the scary-faced memory-wiping aliens.

The question is, what IS The Soon to Fall Silence, and what does it have to do with Amy's baby??

Now for that.
Amy Pond gave birth to a daughter named Melody Pond. River Song is that daughter in the future. That daughter is "human plus time lord" a result of conception during flight within the TARDIS while in the vortex. River/Melody is supposed to be the child in the space-suit. This is reinforced by River's reaction to shooting at it and missing (if it is indeed her younger self) "Of course not."

We know that River/Melody can regenerate just like a time lord as evidenced by the end of Series 6, Episode 2 "Day of the Moon" New York, January of 1970, a coughing little girl says, "Its alright, its quite alright. I'm dying, but I can fix that. Its easy really... see?" and the giggles as her regeneration starts. Is the regeneration a one time thing? A result of the time lord plus human DNA? Possibly an issue of there being time lord DNA but the lack of a second heart?

What is the purpose in the Church's war for young Melody/River?? Do they intend to bring the silence that the Silence spoke to Amy of?? If so how??
